Approve the baseline.

Approve prefix origins or watch an ASN’s prefix inventory. Your account plan controls the resource allowances and available detectors.

Review the snapshots.

Run a manual check or let WordPress schedule periodic checks. Inspect the last-check time and retained provider evidence.

Test your alerts.

Opt in to account-email notifications for unexpected origins, and send a test through your WordPress mail transport.

Know the coverage

The built-in watchlist is periodic snapshot monitoring, not a live BGP stream or a global reachability monitor. Plan intervals are scheduling targets. Batch size, backlog, provider availability and WordPress cron affect timing. Check the last-observation timestamps.

The native service supports origin checks, ASN inventory comparisons and plan-controlled RPKI snapshots. It does not provide live sub-prefix, global withdrawal or route-leak detection. Review provider usage rights before offering paid monitoring.

Allowances are per account. ASN inventory watches and individual prefix watches are counted separately.
